El pasado jueves 10 de diciembre se dio por finalizado el programa virtual iberoamericano Kuntur <\/strong>– ciclo de seis encuentros – que cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de destacados especialistas del mundo acad\u00e9mico y profesional, organizado por el equipo de Alianzas Internacionales del Consorcio 2030.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kuntur<\/strong> (c\u00f3ndor en quechua) busc\u00f3 promover el debate entre estudiantes de distintas universidades respecto a las pr\u00e1cticas ingenieriles en Iberoam\u00e9rica en diversos temas, tales como, escasez h\u00eddrica, energ\u00edas renovables no convencionales, contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica y desaf\u00edos de la miner\u00eda. De esta manera, se brind\u00f3 espacios de discusi\u00f3n que incentivaron el debate y el intercambio de visiones propias de cada realidad, pa\u00eds y cultura, enriqueciendo la experiencia de participaci\u00f3n, tanto de estudiantes como de expositores.<\/p>\n

Claudio Zaror, CEO Consorcio 2030, destac\u00f3 que \u201cla sustentabilidad del desarrollo es fundamental para la ingenier\u00eda, pues ingenieros e ingenieras tenemos que estar preocupados de c\u00f3mo las diferentes acciones que efectuamos en todos los \u00e1mbitos de nuestro desempe\u00f1o funcional est\u00e9n permanentemente abordando los temas que afectan la sustentabilidad de nuestra sociedad\u201d<\/strong>, apuntando a la relevancia de contar con espacios de discusi\u00f3n sobre escasez h\u00eddrica, contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica, ERNC y el desarrollo de una miner\u00eda sustentable.<\/p>\n

Por otra parte, el profesor Zaror se\u00f1al\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que ingenieros e ingenieras deben participar activamente en la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas que afecten la sustentabilidad humana mencionada, pero \u201chay otros aspectos importantes (…) como la responsabilidad social y la responsabilidad \u00e9tica. Se debe privilegiar la salud, el bienestar de los seres humanos, la biodiversidad, la estabilidad y la integridad de los ecosistemas, esto por sobre el concepto de rentabilidad econ\u00f3mica e inter\u00e9s privado\u201d<\/strong>. Finalmente, agreg\u00f3 que \u201ces esencial actuar siempre pensando que el valor que estamos creando ojal\u00e1 llegue al m\u00e1ximo n\u00famero de actores relevantes\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Desde la perspectiva del equipo de Alianzas Internacionales de Consorcio 2030 el programa Kuntur fue creado para contribuir a la educaci\u00f3n internacional y a la movilidad virtual de las facultades de ingenier\u00eda de las universidades participantes, chilenas e Iberoamericanas. De acuerdo a los estudiantes y expositores de Kuntur, este objetivo fue alcanzado exitosamente.<\/p>\n
