Mejoras en la calidad del aire, en el confort t\u00e9rmico de las viviendas y edificaciones, adem\u00e1s de superar la pobreza energ\u00e9tica son los objetivos de la elaboraci\u00f3n de Mapas de Calor en la Regi\u00f3n de Ays\u00e9n, proyecto colaborativo entre el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica, DIM, de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, FI UdeC; la Secretar\u00eda Regional Ministerial del Medio Ambiente de Ays\u00e9n y la Fundaci\u00f3n Energ\u00eda para Todos.<\/p>\n

Esta iniciativa es liderada por el docente del DIM, Javier Piedra, quien junto a los estudiantes de Ingenier\u00eda Civil Mec\u00e1nica, Pablo P\u00e9rez, Carlos Hern\u00e1ndez y Basti\u00e1n Espinoza trabajan esta herramienta. El proyecto, que cuenta con el apoyo de la seremi del Medioambiente de Ays\u00e9n, M\u00f3nica Sald\u00edas, se realizar\u00e1 en las comunas de Puerto Ays\u00e9n, Puerto Cisne y Chile Chico, donde se caracterizar\u00e1n las viviendas de cada comuna, como los edificios de mayor consumo energ\u00e9tico, para que estos luego se utilicen como insumos para la generaci\u00f3n de mapas de calor en las zonas urbanas de las distintas comunas. Adem\u00e1s, se realizar\u00e1 la comparaci\u00f3n, entre el parque habitacional actual, y la simulaci\u00f3n del parque habitacional, pero con todas sus viviendas y edificios aislados t\u00e9rmicamente con los est\u00e1ndares del PDA de Coyhaique. De esta manera, se podr\u00e1 levantar el potencial de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica de cada comuna.<\/p>\n

Javier Piedra, quien adem\u00e1s director ejecutivo de Fundaci\u00f3n Energ\u00eda Para Todos<\/em>, comenta que este organismo efectu\u00f3 un estudio de prefactibilidad para proyectos de calefacci\u00f3n distrital, en Cochrane, entre octubre de 2019 y abril de 2020. \u201cCalefacci\u00f3n distrital supone redes de distribuci\u00f3n de agua caliente para las viviendas en unidades por ciudades completas, as\u00ed como llega la electricidad, el agua fr\u00eda y el gas a la casa ahora podr\u00eda llegar agua caliente, entonces en vez que cada casa tenga una estufa, exista una gran caldera que distribuya la energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica convirti\u00e9ndolo en un sistema mucho m\u00e1s eficiente<\/strong>\u201d, explic\u00f3 el docente.<\/p>\n

Los beneficios del este sistema est\u00e1n relacionados con la calidad de aire, confort t\u00e9rmico de las viviendas y superar la pobreza energ\u00e9tica, entendi\u00e9ndose como el acceso equitativo a servicios energ\u00e9ticos de alta calidad, explica Javier Piedra. Agrega que la clave de un proyecto de calefacci\u00f3n distrital est\u00e1 en desarrollar un mapa de calor, de esta manera se representa geogr\u00e1ficamente a la comuna y se muestra en colores la densidad energ\u00e9tica, es decir la cantidad de energ\u00eda que se consume por \u00e1rea al a\u00f1o, \u201cgracias a esta herramienta se conoce d\u00f3nde se consume m\u00e1s, d\u00f3nde es m\u00e1s eficiente instalar una caldera, y c\u00f3mo podr\u00edan ubicar despu\u00e9s las l\u00edneas de distribuci\u00f3n de agua caliente<\/strong>\u201d, asegur\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Cabe destacar que los tres estudiantes Ingenier\u00eda Civil Mec\u00e1nica decidieron trabajar su tesis con el docente, abordando las herramientas antes aprendidas, buscando transformarlas en un apoyo para el dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n de futuras pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n

De esta manera, Basti\u00e1n Espinoza est\u00e1 a cargo de la simulaci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica de edificios de mayor envergadura; Carlos Hern\u00e1ndez debe obtener la demanda t\u00e9rmica de las viviendas y Pablo P\u00e9rez, con la informaci\u00f3n que levanten, generar\u00e1 el mapa de calor final.<\/p>\n
