Hoy, el Ministerio de Defensa<\/strong> reconoci\u00f3 a los dos equipos que han liderado el desarrollo de ventiladores mec\u00e1nicos, en el marco de la iniciativa \u201cUn respiro para Chile\u201d<\/em>, uno de los cuales es el creado por la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n y Asmar.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn la ceremonia se destac\u00f3 la alianza entre Asmar y la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n que es el primer equipo en completar todas las exigentes pruebas. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del gran aporte que significa para el combate a la pandemia de COVID 19, este momento quedar\u00e1 en la historia como\u00a0 un hito de desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico que demuestra que en Chile existen las capacidades para abordar cualquier desaf\u00edo y nos llama a avanzar de forma decidida hacia un desarrollo del pa\u00eds m\u00e1s basado en el conocimiento y el talento de nuestra gente\u201d,<\/strong> coment\u00f3 Marcela Angulo, Directora de la Unidad UdeC en Santiago, quien junto a Pablo Aqueveque, acad\u00e9mico de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la UdeC, y l\u00edder de la iniciativa por parte de la universidad, asisti\u00f3 a esta ceremonia.<\/p>\n

Cabe destacar que el ventilador mec\u00e1nico de emergencia UdeC \u2013 Asmar es el primero en ser autorizado por un Comit\u00e9 de Expertos a cargo de validar los prototipos. El otro, es el modelo Ney\u00fcn de las empresas Famae, Enaer y DTS. De esta manera, ambos equipos superaron exitosamente el proceso de validaci\u00f3n definido en el Protocolo elaborado por SOCHIMI junto a la Sociedad de Anestesiolog\u00eda de Chile (SACH), la Sociedad Chilena de Medicina de Urgencia (SOCHIMU) y el Consejo Multidisciplinario de Facilitaci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Crisis Covid-19.<\/p>\n

A la actividad – presidida por el Ministerio de Defensa, Alberto Espina – asisti\u00f3 el Ministro de Salud, \u00a0Enrique Paris; y Ministro de Ciencia, Andr\u00e9s Couve, entre otros invitados, quienes reconocieron el tremendo trabajo colaborativo entre entidades p\u00fablicas, empresas privadas y universidades que hizo posible el avance de estos prototipos en un plazo de solo dos meses.<\/p>\n

En este momento se est\u00e1 a la espera de la orden de producci\u00f3n que debe emanar de la autoridad de Gobierno, y para su fabricaci\u00f3n cuentan con el apoyado del Fondo SiEmpre y Corfo y, en el caso del ventilador desarrollado por la UdeC y Asmar tambi\u00e9n recibe apoyo de las filiales del grupo ISA en Chile.<\/p>\n \n
