\u201cLa idea surgi\u00f3 hace un par de semanas en conversaciones con Pedro Pinacho y otros docentes de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda, donde surgi\u00f3 la idea de desarrollar la aplicaci\u00f3n para, por un lado, colaborar en la difusi\u00f3n de la encuesta de prevenci\u00f3n lanzada por Telemedicina UdeC, y por otro, aprovechar la capacidad de nuestros tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles y obtener informaci\u00f3n de georreferencia de los usuarios,\u00a0<\/strong>y de esta manera, poder analizar de qu\u00e9 forma se distribuye la presencia de s\u00edntomas y su evoluci\u00f3n, lo que permitir\u00eda tomar medidas concretas de apoyo adem\u00e1s de preventivas\u201d<\/strong>, explic\u00f3 Benjam\u00edn Germany, Ingeniero UdeC, gerente del Centro de Industria 4.0, Ci4, de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, y uno de los impulsores de esta iniciativa.<\/p>\n Pedro Pinacho<\/p><\/div>\n Para el acad\u00e9mico Pedro Pinacho este desarrollo le ha permitido transferir conocimiento a la sociedad justo cuando m\u00e1s se necesita informaci\u00f3n de calidad para mejores tomas de decisiones. \u201cUno, como investigador est\u00e1 acostumbrado a generar papers o art\u00edculos que son importantes, pero no sabes finalmente el uso que otro le puede dar. En cambio ac\u00e1, estamos generando un impacto positivo, y es lo que buscamos como docentes de la UdeC, impactar\u201d<\/strong>, cont\u00f3 Pinacho.<\/p>\n El ingeniero que estuvo a cargo de la programaci\u00f3n fue Leonardo Pino, egresado de Inform\u00e1tica de la UdeC, quien se sum\u00f3 a esta iniciativa y en pr\u00e1cticamente 3 d\u00edas tenia lista esta primera versi\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n, la que prontamente estar\u00e1 ya disponible para ser bajada desde los tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles.<\/p>\n Leonardo Pino<\/p><\/div>\n \u201cTodos podemos aportar desde nuestras \u00e1reas de conocimiento, en mi caso particular, es el desarrollo de software. Lo que me motiv\u00f3 es el potencial que puede tener la aplicaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda en el \u00e1rea m\u00e9dica. La telemedicina no es algo nuevo, sin embargo, la crisis del coronavirus gener\u00f3 la oportunidad de potenciar esta \u00e1rea y llevarla a un uso masivo, pudiendo mejorar y eficientar procesos existentes usando la tecnolog\u00eda\u201d,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 Leonardo, quien agreg\u00f3 que lo m\u00e1s complejo fue el miedo al cambio, \u201csin embargo todos los cambios deben ser paulatinos y con una curva de aprendizaje f\u00e1cil de llevar para usuarios tecnol\u00f3gicos como para los que no lo son tanto\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n Cabe destacar que esta aplicaci\u00f3n tiene adem\u00e1s la posibilidad de orientar a los usuarios en temas claves del Covid-19 – evitando informaci\u00f3n falsa o fake news<\/em> – por medio de notificaciones o noticias revisadas o elaboradas por el personal de salud de telemedicina.<\/p>\n Finalmente, si bien este desarrollo inform\u00e1tico fue elaborado para aportar en la evaluaci\u00f3n de riesgo del Covid-19, evitando la saturaci\u00f3n de centros de salud, la idea es ampliar la colaboraci\u00f3n en otras \u00e1reas relacionadas con telemedicina y donde las distintas especialidades de ingenier\u00eda pueden ser un
