Siete acad\u00e9micos de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda recibieron su certificaci\u00f3n en Competencias Docentes nivel 2<\/strong>, todo un hito que se celebr\u00f3, el 29 de enero, con una breve exposici\u00f3n de sus experiencias.<\/p>\n

El Programa de Certificaci\u00f3n de Competencias Docentes para Ingenier\u00eda<\/strong> se dise\u00f1\u00f3 para lograr distintos niveles en los acad\u00e9micos con relaci\u00f3n a sus capacidades para generar cambios reales en sus pr\u00e1cticas docentes.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl primer nivel es el que garantiza que los acad\u00e9micos conocen los elementos principales del modelo educativo udec, pero no que son capaces de poner en pr\u00e1ctica estos conceptos. Desde el nivel 2 hacia adelante, que es el programa que cerramos hoy, ya es una intervenci\u00f3n evaluada, medida en el contexto de un curso que ellos dictan\u201d,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 Marcela Varas, directora de la Unidad de Educaci\u00f3n en Ingenier\u00eda, UdEI,<\/a> organismo a cargo de implementar el programa.<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo obtuvieron nivel 2?\u00a0 Los acad\u00e9micos debieron identificar un problema y generar una mejora con la asesor\u00eda de los psic\u00f3logos educativos, en este caso, Camilo Vera y Jorge Maluenda. Por lo tanto, debieron implementar la mejora y evaluarla. \u201cEso lo entregaron en un reporte y adem\u00e1s como era la primera cohorte que se graduaban del nivel 2 les pedimos que prepararan una presentaci\u00f3n para socializar qu\u00e9 hab\u00eda hecho cada uno\u201d<\/strong>, puntualiz\u00f3 Varas.<\/p>\n

Actualmente, un 14% de los acad\u00e9micos de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda posee certificaci\u00f3n nivel 2, siendo la meta lograr un 100% el a\u00f1o 2022. Para ello, clave ser\u00eda \u2013 seg\u00fan coment\u00f3 Marcela Varas \u2013 la incorporaci\u00f3n de la nueva evaluaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica, es decir, que est\u00e9 indexado este tipo de mejora a la carrera acad\u00e9mica. \u201cSi esto vale un tercio de lo que vale una publicaci\u00f3n, evidentemente dedico mis esfuerzos a hacer un paper.<\/em> Es un tema de los incentivos, los que deben estar bien puestos y vamos hacia all\u00e1\u201d,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 Varas, quien destac\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que para la acreditaci\u00f3n ABET el nivel 2 permite tener claridad de conceptos claves del proceso.<\/p>\n
