La Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda, a trav\u00e9s del Instituto de Investigaciones Tecnol\u00f3gicas, IIT UdeC<\/a>, participa del Proyecto +R<\/strong><\/a>, que desarrolla el Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos en la Regi\u00f3n del B\u00edob\u00edo, y que busca capacitar a internos penitenciarios para re-insertarlos laboralmente a la comunidad.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, el pasado 20 y 21 de enero, doce reos de Lebu iniciaron su procesos de certificaci\u00f3n en instalaci\u00f3n de redes y artefactos de gas, actividad que se desarroll\u00f3 en el laboratorio de Termofluidos, hasta donde arribaron autoridades de Gobierno y Universitarias.<\/p>\n

\u00abPara nosotros es muy importante poder aportar con nuestro quehacer, con nuestro conocimiento y con nuestras capacidades instaladas en la formaci\u00f3n, en este caso, de un programa que tiene un impacto social muy alto, como es el programa de re inserci\u00f3n a la sociedad. Por lo tanto, en este caso estamos colaborando con esta iniciativa del Estado, en el cual la Universidad puede ser un actor relevante por la capacidad instalada que tiene\u00bb,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 Luis Mor\u00e1n, Decano de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Sergio Vallejos, Seremi de Justicia y Derechos Humanos se mostr\u00f3 muy contento con esta actividad, la cual se alinea plenamente con el proyecto +R, \u201cque busca la colaboraci\u00f3n entre la empresa privada, la academia y las instituciones p\u00fablicas<\/strong>\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la autoridad. Finalmente, Diter Villarroel, Coronel de Gendarmer\u00eda, Director Regional del Biob\u00edo, explic\u00f3 que este es el segundo curso que se certifica y que actualmente en la Regi\u00f3n del Biobio se est\u00e1n desarrollando otros cuatro que est\u00e1n en proceso de instrucci\u00f3n y pronto certificaci\u00f3n. \u201cPara Gendarmer\u00eda es un logro importante por cuanto esto va de la mano con el trabajo de re inserci\u00f3n que nuestra instituci\u00f3n por siempre ha sostenido para lograr que estas personas puedan definitivamente reintegrarse a la sociedad como personas de bien\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
