Una conversaci\u00f3n en torno a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS)<\/strong>,<\/a> que impulsa el Programa Academy International<\/strong> <\/a>en nuestra Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, se efectu\u00f3 el 13 de diciembre, en el \u201cCaf\u00e9 de las 10\u201d de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Se trata de un programa de cooperaci\u00f3n de universidades espa\u00f1olas, que inicialmente se extend\u00eda desde marzo 2019 a enero 2020; sin embargo, dada la contingencia se extendi\u00f3 hasta mayo 2020. Se seleccionaron 4 universidades Chilenas para llevar a cabo este programa: Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, Universidad Andr\u00e9s Bello (Santiago), Universidad de Talca y Universidad Tecnol\u00f3gica Metropol\u00edtana (UTEM).<\/p>\n

En el caso de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, esta fue seleccionada con algunos meses de desfase por lo que comenz\u00f3 a desarrollarlo a fines de mayo 2019.<\/p>\n

Academy International busca incorporar los ODS en las asignaturas de pregrado transversalmente y potenciar las capacidades del cuerpo docente en esta tem\u00e1tica. De esta manera, Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Sol\u00eds, Directora Equipo Interdisciplinario por la Inclusi\u00f3n de la UdeC, y l\u00edder de esta iniciativa, expuso a docentes de ingenier\u00eda el trabajo que se est\u00e1 desarrollando, con el fin de difundirlo y tener retroalimentaci\u00f3n de los acad\u00e9micos.<\/p>\n

Luis Merino<\/a>, docente del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Civil – <\/a>y quien participa activamente del equipo UdeC impulsores del programa – destac\u00f3 la importancia de que el cuerpo acad\u00e9mico conozca estos ODS. \u201cHoy se presentaron los avances del proyecto, que depende de la Vicerrector\u00eda de Asuntos Econ\u00f3micos de la UdeC, y que tiene por objetivo incorporar los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sustentable en los planes de estudios de las carreras de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n\u201d<\/strong>, cont\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Los 17 ODS conllevan un esp\u00edritu de colaboraci\u00f3n y pragmatismo que buscan mejorar la vida de manera sostenible, para las generaciones futuras, abarcando aspectos sociales, econ\u00f3micos y medioambientales.<\/p>\n
