Centro de Investigaciones Energ\u00e9ticas, Medioambientales y Tecnol\u00f3gicas (CIEMAT) de Espa\u00f1a<\/a>, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez, instancia organizada por el docente del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica, Oscar Far\u00edas.<\/p>\nEn su exposici\u00f3n, realizada el 21 de noviembre, el investigador del CIEMAT se refiri\u00f3 al estado actual del uso de la biomasa para fines energ\u00e9ticos en Espa\u00f1a, la trayectoria en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la visi\u00f3n a futuro y c\u00f3mo compartir la experiencia con lo que se est\u00e1 haciendo en Chile, un intercambio de experiencia, \u201cla situaci\u00f3n ac\u00e1 y la biomasa es muy parejo a lo que se est\u00e1 haciendo en Europa\u201d<\/strong>, dijo.<\/p>\nEl investigador mencion\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que, en general, todas las energ\u00edas renovables tuvieron un buen despegue en la d\u00e9cada del 2000, aunque hubo un cierto \u201cpar\u00f3n\u201d como consecuencia, tal vez, de la crisis econ\u00f3mica. Ahora se observa un repunte nuevamente, \u201cquiz\u00e1 la biomasa no compite tanto con otras fuentes masivas como la e\u00f3lica, pero tiene su nicho de mercado, por decirlo as\u00ed, para producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica.
