El pasado lunes 07 de octubre el decano de la Facultad, Luis Mor\u00e1n, junto a la vicedecana, Claudia Carrasco, convocaron a los seis docentes de nuestra Facultad que con sus proyectos presentados se adjudicaron el Concurso Fondecyt de Iniciaci\u00f3n en Investigaci\u00f3n 2019 -de los 19 que en total se atribuy\u00f3 la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n- para felicitarlos y reconocer la postulaci\u00f3n de sus trabajos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFondecyt hoy en d\u00eda se ha transformado en un sello de calidad en el mundo acad\u00e9mico\u201d, as\u00ed comenz\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n con los docentes de la FI que se adjudicaron el Fondecyt Iniciaci\u00f3n 2019, donde el decano, Luis Mor\u00e1n felicit\u00f3 y reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo de estos seis acad\u00e9micos:\u00a0Maichel Aguayo (DII), Guillermo Cabrera (DIICC), Julio Godoy (DIICC), Gabriel Saavedra (DIE), Oscar Valerio (DIQ) y Marcelo Aybar (DIC).<\/p>\n

\u201cHoy, cuando uno se gana un fondecyt, ya sea de iniciaci\u00f3n o regular, es una medallita que se pega en el pecho y eso es bueno, ya que, pese a otras variables, yo dir\u00eda un porcentaje importante de los proyectos que se aprueban, son de alta calidad, y eso ha tenido un impacto en la investigaci\u00f3n universitaria no menor\u201d, expres\u00f3 el decano a los docentes.<\/p>\n

Para Ximena Garc\u00eda, directora de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo de la Facultad, \u201cla aprobaci\u00f3n de los nuestros docentes es un gran logro, dado lo competitivo que se ha convertido el concurso, nuestras sinceras felicitaciones para los profesores ganadores, este es un gran paso para el inicio de una exitosa carrera acad\u00e9mica\u201d, indic\u00f3 en un correo electr\u00f3nico, donde informa de los porcentajes en comparaci\u00f3n con el resto de la UdeC: La Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda postul\u00f3 11 proyectos y aprob\u00f3 6 con un 54,5%. La Universidad postul\u00f3 59 y aprob\u00f3 19, con un 32,2% de aprobaci\u00f3n. A nivel nacional la aprobaci\u00f3n fue de un 33,5% (379\/1130).<\/p>\n

En la reuni\u00f3n presente tambi\u00e9n la Vicedecana, Claudia Carrasco, quien le entreg\u00f3 a los acad\u00e9micos tips y detalles para la etapa que viene una vez adjudicado el fondo.\u00a0Asimismo, Claudio Zaror, director de Vinculaci\u00f3n de la Facultad, tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 de este espacio, as\u00ed como Ricardo Contreras, director de Ingenier\u00eda 2030.<\/p>\n

En la oportunidad se inst\u00f3 a los acad\u00e9micos a avanzar hacia una investigaci\u00f3n interdisciplinaria y de mayor impacto en la comunidad cient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n
