El s\u00e1bado 5 de octubre se realiz\u00f3 el festival \u201cConce de Ciencias\u201d<\/strong><\/a>, organizado por el Proyecto Asociativo Regional, Par, Explora Biob\u00edo y la \u201cLiga de las Ciencias\u201d de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, actividad en que Ingenier\u00eda Civil en Telecomunicaciones<\/strong> particip\u00f3 con un stand para mostrar las distintas \u00e1reas que alumnos y acad\u00e9micos trabajan en la carrera.<\/p>\n

\u201cParticipamos en la feria para poder hacer difusi\u00f3n de la carrera y para que la gente nos conozca. Fue una muy buena experiencia, tuvimos mucha visibilidad y mucha gente se interes\u00f3 en la demostraci\u00f3n con nuestro analizador de radio y con la c\u00e1mara infrarroja. <\/strong>Tuvimos ayuda de un ingeniero y un alumno memorista y nos fuimos muy contentos al ver tanto inter\u00e9s en nuestra \u00e1rea\u201d<\/strong>, indic\u00f3 el Dr. Gabriel Saavedra, acad\u00e9mico encargado de extensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

A la par de las demostraciones en el stand, el Dr. Saavedra particip\u00f3 en el segmento de charlas cortas, que se realiz\u00f3 en el escenario central. \u201cConvers\u00e9 un poco sobre la historia de las Telecomunicaciones y qu\u00e9 invenciones y descubrimientos cient\u00edficos lograron que <\/strong>estemos al nivel en el que estamos hoy\u201d,<\/strong> se\u00f1al\u00f3 el profesor.<\/p>\n

Uno de los cientos de visitantes que tuvo el stand fue Cristi\u00e1n D\u00edaz, quien coment\u00f3 que le pareci\u00f3 \u201cmuy interesante y novedoso lo que mostraron, adem\u00e1s que la ciencia nos abre un mont\u00f3n de espectros y para los ni\u00f1os esto es genial, aparte que los motiva a seguir descubriendo\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Otra de las m\u00e1s interesadas en las demostraciones fue Jaqueline Bravo, quien asisti\u00f3 al festival junto a su hijo. \u201cEsto fue bastante interesante ya que me declaro una ignorante en el tema y si vine fue para poder aprender e ir al d\u00eda en la tecnolog\u00eda y la ciencia. Me qued\u00e9 bastante admirada de lo que est\u00e1n haciendo\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esteban Donoso fue otro de los visitantes del stand quien destac\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de distintos integrantes de la carrera: \u201cLo que se mostr\u00f3 fue muy interesante e ilustrativo y me gust\u00f3 que hayan participado varias personas de la carrera y no s\u00f3lo estudiantes de<\/strong>
pregrado\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cabe mencionar que esta fue una actividad gratuita, que se realiz\u00f3 en el contexto de la Semana Explora de Conicyt y que cont\u00f3 con una masiva asistencia de p\u00fablico durante toda la jornada.<\/p>\n
