Durante el 27 y 30 de agosto se realiz\u00f3 en la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda la jornada \u201cVive la Ingenier\u00eda\u201d, en la que participaron m\u00e1s de 300 alumnos y alumnas de distintos colegios de la regi\u00f3n y de otros lugares de Chile.<\/p>\n

En esta oportunidad, la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Civil en Telecomunicaciones<\/strong> particip\u00f3 realizando charlas informativas y visitas guiadas por los laboratorios de Microondas y Antenas, Optr\u00f3nica y SP&R.<\/p>\n

Las charlas a los estudiantes fueron dictadas por el Dr. Jorge Pezoa y el Dr. Sebasti\u00e1n Godoy, en la que se destacaron los elementos diferenciadores de Telecomunicaciones. \u201cEn general las carreras muestran cu\u00e1les son sus puntajes cortes y otros temas relacionados, pero nosotros les mostramos que nos preocupamos de nuestros alumnos, los eventos que hemos hecho y la difusi\u00f3n en los medios que hemos tenido, adem\u00e1s de hacer difusi\u00f3n de lo que trata esta especialidad, porque a diferencia de otras carreras como electr\u00f3nica o el\u00e9ctrica, la comunidad en general no sabe a lo que nosotros nos dedicamos, tenemos una brecha m\u00e1s grande que romper ah\u00ed. Entonces, explicamos que son las telecomunicaciones y cu\u00e1les son los elementos diferenciadores que nos separan de otras carreras, no solamente en la formaci\u00f3n, sino en el diario vivir del estudiante\u201d<\/strong>, indic\u00f3 el Dr. Godoy.<\/p>\n

Juan Mar\u00edn Salas, alumno de cuarto medio del Liceo Bicentenario de Coronel, fue uno de los participantes de la actividad e indic\u00f3 que \u201cestaba muy buena porque as\u00ed me voy con m\u00e1s ideas, nociones y con m\u00e1s fundamentos respecto de lo que quiero estudiar, para despu\u00e9s rendir la PSU y postular a una carrera. Hab\u00eda escuchado el nombre de telecomunicaciones, pero me inscrib\u00ed a esta charla para conocer m\u00e1s\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Otra de las estudiantes que conocieron los espacios de la carrera fue Isidora Rodr\u00edguez, alumna de cuarto medio del Colegio Cholgu\u00e1n. \u201cLa charla y la visita fueron muy claras. Adem\u00e1s la visita fue una linda experiencia tambi\u00e9n porque uno se va interiorizando m\u00e1s de lo que trata esta \u00e1rea, yo no conoc\u00eda la carrera as\u00ed que esto me ayud\u00f3\u201d<\/strong>, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Cabe mencionar que durante ambos d\u00edas, se destac\u00f3 el tema de la mujer en ingenier\u00eda, tanto en la actividad en general, como por parte de las charlas de Telecomunicaciones, en la que se mencion\u00f3 el apoyo y las ventajas de estudiar esta carrera a\u00a0 las estudiantes.<\/p>\n
