Durante la semana de la madera, organizada por CORMA, se efectu\u00f3 \u2013 el 04 de septiembre – el Concurso relacionado con Dise\u00f1o, Innovaci\u00f3n, Arquitectura, Ingenier\u00eda y Wood Startup Challenge, donde empresas, emprendedores y estudiantes de distintas universidades de todo Chile participaron con sus propuestas. Una de ellas, integrada por alumnos de Ingenier\u00eda Civil en Aeroespacial y de Arquitectura, obtuvo segundo lugar en la categor\u00eda Innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cNosotros en la carrera participamos en el Grupo de Inter\u00e9s en CNC e impresoras 3D y en abril pasado se nos acerc\u00f3 un alumnos de arquitectura, quien necesitaba ayuda para revisar un proyecto, utilizar las m\u00e1quinas para trabajar en madera y nosotros, le dijimos que lo pod\u00edamos ayudar y cuando est\u00e1bamos ya trabajando nos coment\u00f3 del concurso, que estaba trabajando en un proyecto de innovaci\u00f3n y necesitaba ayuda para poder concretarlo\u201d, <\/strong>explic\u00f3 Rodrigo Rocha, estudiante de 4to a\u00f1o de Ingenier\u00eda Civil Aeroespacial.<\/p>\n

De esta manera, el estudiante de arquitectura Francisco Molina los invit\u00f3 a participar de la idea y del concurso. \u201c\u00c9l lleg\u00f3 con la idea de un recubrimiento de interior y exterior de viviendas que cumpla la funci\u00f3n de aislante t\u00e9rmico, ac\u00fastico y despu\u00e9s, nosotros le agregamos que fuese ign\u00edfugo (retardante del fuego) para agregarle un plus\u201d,<\/strong> explic\u00f3 Mat\u00edas Alveal, tambi\u00e9n alumno de 4to a\u00f1o de la mencionada carrera de ingenier\u00eda.<\/p>\n

En un principio partieron mezclando ac\u00edcula, que es la hoja larga del pino, con viruta de aserraderos y con algunas resinas, pero no dio resultado. As\u00ed que decidieron hacerlo s\u00f3lo con ac\u00edcula y resina.<\/p>\n

\u201cPara nosotros fue la primera vez que particip\u00e1bamos en un concurso y por eso nos motivamos, porque era una experiencia nueva\u201d,<\/strong> puntualiz\u00f3 Mat\u00edas, quien junto a Rodrigo destacan adem\u00e1s lo enriquecedor y gratificante de trabajar con estudiantes de otras carreras y agradecimientos especiales a los docentes Carlos Medina de ingenier\u00eda y Roberto Guerrero de arquitectura<\/p>\n

\u201cAdem\u00e1s, se abre la mente y te obliga a salir un poco de tu zona de confort, que en el caso de uno, dejar de pensar en aviones y\u00a0pensar en otros temas, que igual se aplican los principios que estamos aprendiendo en la carrera\u201d,<\/strong> puntualiz\u00f3 Rocha.<\/p>\n

Cabe destacar que le primer lugar en esa misma categor\u00eda fue para el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de Pol\u00edmeros Avanzados, CIPA<\/a>, tambi\u00e9n vinculado con la UdeC, la Universidad del B\u00edo B\u00edo, el Gobierno Regional y Conicy<\/p>\n
