Andrea Rodr\u00edguez, acad\u00e9mica de nuestra facultad, fue nombrada por el\u00a0ministro de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Conocimiento e Innovaci\u00f3n, Andr\u00e9s Couve, como parte del comit\u00e9 de expertos para la elaboraci\u00f3n de una Pol\u00edtica Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial.<\/p>\n

\u00abEstoy muy agradecida de la confianza y siento una gran responsabilidad por la designaci\u00f3n. Lo que me ha solicitado el ministro es participar de distintas perspectivas de computaci\u00f3n y otras disciplinas, para analizar c\u00f3mo potenciar el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial y an\u00e1lisis de datos, por el progreso econ\u00f3mico y social de nuestro pa\u00eds\u201d, declar\u00f3 la docente.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan Rodr\u00edguez<\/a>, \u201cla inteligencia artificial es una tecnolog\u00eda y un \u00e1rea en la inform\u00e1tica que se ha instalado como soporte para el desarrollo en distintas disciplinas, y en ese sentido permite hacer saltos importantes en los logros que podamos tener, en \u00e1reas como la medicina, astronom\u00eda, manejo de recursos naturales, manufactura avanzada, etc\u00e9tera\u201d.<\/p>\n

Existen varios pa\u00edses que ya tienen definidas pol\u00edticas en el \u00e1rea y la idea de nuestro\u00a0Gobierno<\/a>\u00a0es que Chile no se quede atr\u00e1s en estas tem\u00e1ticas: \u201cLo que se plante\u00f3 es sumarnos a ese tipo de pol\u00edticas y tratar de aportar con una f\u00f3rmula sistem\u00e1tica de apoyo y sustentabilidad, al progreso y desarrollo de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas\u201d sostuvo la profesional.<\/p>\n
