\nDurante 2 d\u00edas, nuestra Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda, recibi\u00f3 a cerca de 300 alumnos y alumnas de distintos establecimientos educacionales de la regi\u00f3n y de otras partes de Chile, para conocer m\u00e1s de las 13 especialidades en ingenier\u00eda civil.<\/p>\n

En esta jornada, denominada \u201cVive la Ingenier\u00eda\u201d<\/strong>, efectuada el 27 y 30 de agosto, Decano Luis Mor\u00e1n les cont\u00f3 parte del quehacer de la FI UdeC, sus fortalezas y los desaf\u00edos a los futuros estudiantes de ingenier\u00eda. Por su parte, Claudio Zaror, Director de Vinculaci\u00f3n con el Medio y CEO del Consorcio 2030, los motiv\u00f3 a aprovechar lo m\u00e1ximo su visita a la FI, a los laboratorios, y los inst\u00f3 a conversar con profesores y alumnos para que la decisi\u00f3n sea la m\u00e1s acertada.<\/p>\n

En ambos d\u00edas, el tema mujer en ingenier\u00eda<\/strong> tuvo una destacada presencia. El primer d\u00eda con Pamela Guevara, acad\u00e9mica y l\u00edder del Grupo Mujeres en Ingenier\u00eda (acad\u00e9micos y acad\u00e9micas), se\u00f1al\u00f3 a las escolares presentes que ingenier\u00eda es una carrera para mujeres y atreverse a romper paradigmas en torno al tema. A su vez, el segundo d\u00eda, Pamela Zurita, Presidenta de Women in Engineering<\/a> del IEEE expuso sobre la agrupaci\u00f3n, mostr\u00f3 datos actuales en el tema y las actividades que se est\u00e1n desarrollando para impulsar una mayor participaci\u00f3n de las propias estudiantes de ingenier\u00eda como de las pr\u00f3ximas a entrar a la FI.<\/p>\n

\u201cHan sido arduos d\u00edas para todo el equipo, pero tambi\u00e9n s\u00faper enriquecedores, porque nos hemos dado cuenta del inter\u00e9s de los alumnos, no s\u00f3lo de cuarto medio, sino tambi\u00e9n este a\u00f1o muchos alumnos de segundo y tercero medio nos pidieron poder participar de la actividad para conocer desde antes sobre las ingenieras en la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n\u201d,<\/strong> cont\u00f3 Natalia Torres, coordinadora de extensi\u00f3n de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda, quien ya est\u00e1 pensando en algunos cambios para mejorar el impacto de esta actividad para el 2020.<\/p>\n

Ambos d\u00edas consider\u00f3 charlas por carrera, visitas a laboratorios, finalizando con un almuerzo en el Casino de Los Patos.<\/p>\n
