Su contribuci\u00f3n al desarrollo de la regi\u00f3n y del pa\u00eds, a la calidad de vida de los habitantes, as\u00ed como su aporte a la transferencia de tecnolog\u00eda, tanto en Chile como en el extranjero, son solo algunos de los motivos por los cuales el Colegio Nacional de Ingenieros de Chile<\/a> distingui\u00f3 este a\u00f1o a la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda con el Premio Nacional Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile<\/a>, categor\u00eda instituci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

La ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n, efectuada el 22 de agosto, en el Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile, en Santiago, cont\u00f3 con la presencia del Rector Carlos Saavedra, del Decano Luis Mor\u00e1n, de la Directora de la Unidad de la UdeC en Santiago, Marcela Angulo, acad\u00e9micos, estudiantes y parte del Comit\u00e9 Consultivo de la FI UdeC.<\/p>\n

En relaci\u00f3n a este reconocimiento, fruto de la larga trayectoria en la formaci\u00f3n de ingenieros, Luis Mor\u00e1n destac\u00f3 a los egresados FI UdeC que han contribuido de manera muy importante al desarrollo del pa\u00eds, \u201c y que nos incentiva a mantener el nivel, mejorar la formaci\u00f3n de nuestros estudiantes, adaptarnos a los nuevos tiempos, cumplir con los hitos del proyecto Ingenier\u00eda 2030 – que ha sido un gran aliciente al desarrollo de estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os – y a transmitir toda la pasi\u00f3n por la ingenier\u00eda a nuestros estudiantes\u201d,<\/strong> explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

En la ceremonia tambi\u00e9n se reconoci\u00f3 al ingeniero Ricardo Simpson Riversa, especialista en procesamientos t\u00e9rmicos de alimentos y docente de la Universidad Federico Santa Mar\u00eda.<\/p>\n
