En un ambiente de colaboraci\u00f3n y confianza, Marlene Roeckel dirigi\u00f3 su \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n como directora del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica, el pasado lunes 12 de agosto, para asumir al d\u00eda siguiente el acad\u00e9mico electo, Rodrigo B\u00f3rquez.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En la Sala de Profesores, donde habitualmente se re\u00fanen los docentes del DIQ, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n de Marlene Roeckel como directora, quien aprovech\u00f3 de agradecer a todos sus colegas por la voluntad de trabajar y llevar el departamento a\u00fan m\u00e1s lejos en estos dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

\u201cAqu\u00ed son todos tremendamente talentosos y ser\u00e1 s\u00faper dif\u00edcil que vuelva a encontrar un grupo humano as\u00ed; fue muy agradable y realmente trabaj\u00e9 con cada uno de los miembros del departamento\u201d, dijo a los presentes, recordando adem\u00e1s de forma anecd\u00f3tica las reuniones que tuvieron martes por medio con un grupo m\u00e1s reducido, donde siempre llev\u00f3 un kuchen preparado por ella misma para compartir y agradecer a sus colegas la buena disposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo B\u00f3rquez tambi\u00e9n se dirigi\u00f3 a los presentes para agradecer el apoyo en la elecci\u00f3n. \u201cHa pasado un buen tiempo desde que estuve a cargo del departamento por un periodo prolongado, y creo que desde ah\u00ed a la fecha he ido adquiriendo m\u00e1s experiencia que pretendo volcar en esta nueva oportunidad para que sigamos trabajando; Marlene hizo una muy buena labor, hay cosas re importantes para proyectar nuestro departamento hacia el futuro y tendremos que seguir en ello\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El nuevo director mencion\u00f3 que uno de los aspectos importantes de su gesti\u00f3n ser\u00e1 potenciar a los profesores j\u00f3venes, de forma que esto mantenga e incremente la productividad en la Facultad, \u201cque se ha estancado un poco\u201d, en palabras de \u00e9l. Asimismo, coment\u00f3 que Marlene Roeckel seguir\u00e1 apoyando muy cerca la acreditaci\u00f3n con ABET.<\/p>\n

Cabe mencionar que como Jefe de Carrera asumi\u00f3 el acad\u00e9mico Miguel Angel Pereira y como director subrogante Andr\u00e9s Mej\u00eda.<\/p>\n
